The ever-excellent BBC Four have a documentary this evening at 9pm about Father Michael Cleary, which should make entertaining viewing. He was famous for doing cabaret turns, but when he died the housekeeper revealed she had a son by him. More details about the programme here

According to this entry on the BBC Website, there will be a three-part series about UK comics on BBC Four in September.
